I met through Lastfm and since I heard Something Good Can Work that I could out of my head. His debut "Tourist History" is definitely one of the great albums of 2010.
beat! Beat! Beat!
Although I already knew for some time with The Cinematics, in October this year they released their first album called "Lightmare" which eventually became my favorite and most listened to in 2010.
