Baltik was a "super group" created by producer Anders Henriksson and its name referred to the fact that consisted of Swedish and British musicians, who had to cross the Baltic to play together. Swedish side was Brinner Fläsket musicians, Kebnekajse, Jason's Fleece, Opus III, Life, Atlantic Ocean and Blond, apart from pop singer Tomas Ledin and jazz Claes Jansson. The British were John Gustafsson (The Big Three, Merseybeats, Quatermass, Hard Stuff, Roxy Music), David Garriock (Red Squares) and Adrian Moar. Lyrics of the songs were written in English and the mixture of styles of both countries (folk, progressive, ...) managed to make it a unique album in Sweden. After the group folded, many of its musicians ended up in the Swedish rock group Ablution jazz.
released an EP in 1973 and a single disc, Baltik that year.
